Why Give?WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER GIVING TO A
CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION SUCH AS
CHURCHQUAKE INTERNATIONAL (CQI)
AND NOT JUST GIVE STRAIGHT TO THE ONE
THAT NEEDS THE MONEY?
ChurchQuake believes strongly that many of the people
we find in need of severe help are not in a situation where
they are wanting to manage money in a
"good steward" mindset.
It's kind of like most people in America wanting to help
the homeless. They know that the homeless person
could desperately use the money. However, that person,
at the current time, might not make the best decision
on how to use the money. Therefore, giving to the
organization that will effectively help that person
becomes the best alternative.
We, at CQI, feel that we want to be that "best alternative"
for the many, many people to which we are led. The
person that needs that help doesn't need the temptation
to spend the money on things that aren't necessary. CQI
wants to do the very best thing possible for the needy
and wants to get the most mileage out of every
dollar that we receive.
